I have worked in the mental health field for 15+ years in education, case management, community based services, and now in counseling for over three years.
I provide counseling to individuals, couples, and families. I have worked to help people manage their mental health symptoms with anxiety, depression, bipolar, and a number of other diagnoses. My areas of interest are disordered eating behaviors and aligning myself with those who are a part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
I utilize DBT, Choice-based therapy, and feminist based approaches to help my clients achieve the life they desire. My job is not to impose my ideas of what your ideal life looks like, what culture of society deems worthy, but to instead help you actualize your life and the journey you want to be on. I consider it an honor to be a part of your journey!
In my personal time, I love spending time with my husband and our fur babies, four cats, who we love and spoil whenever we can. I also enjoy reading, swimming, fixing up our house, and watching scary or action packed movies.
