Health Advisory Update: COVID-19

To Our Clients -

As our State and community continue to navigate the COVID-19 health emergency, we wanted to let you know of the steps we are taking. Our priority continues to be protecting the health and safety of all of you, our staff, and our community while continuing to provide the essential service of mental healthcare. Telehealth services continue to be available.

For those that come in to the office, we wanted to inform you of the measures we are putting in place to protect the health and safety of our community.

Steps We Are Taking In the Office

  • We are asking that everyone (clients, family, staff) stay home and reschedule their appointment if you have any symptoms of sickness (e.g. fever/chills, cough, shortness of breath, runny nose, fatigue, muscle/body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, nausea/vomiting/diarrhea). In the event that someone comes to the office displaying signs of illness we will kindly ask you to return home. We have forehead thermometers available at our office to check your temperature if you are uncertain.

  • Face coverings are highly recommended. Disposable masks are available. You may discuss face covering usage with your clinician if you have specific needs/desires.

  • When in the office, please maintain social distancing guidelines of 6 feet. This includes our lobby/front desk area.

  • Disinfection and sanitation is a high priority.  LCC has increased our cleaning and disinfecting steps on a daily basis and will continue to monitor and take additional steps as deemed necessary.

  • We have air purifiers in common areas and individual counseling offices.

  • We have removed communal pens from the front desk area and will be providing each client with a disinfected pen to sign any paperwork.

  • We have removed all games, toys, magazines, etc. from our reception area.  Any resources utilized during therapy will be disinfected prior to use.

  • We are promoting frequent hand washing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.  If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
