 Therapeutic Behavior Services (TBS)

Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) is an intensive, individualized, outpatient treatment program for children and adolescents who are at risk of hospitalization or a higher level of care. The program focuses on increased stability across settings and works to prevent out-of-home placement.

TBS is a treatment modality offered by the Idaho Behavioral Health Plan (IBHP) within the Intensive Home and Community Based Services (IHCBS).

Individuals who are eligible for TBS services as outlined by Idaho Medicaid and the Idaho Behavioral Health Plan specifically: 

  • Youth 5-18 years old diagnosed with a Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) who have demonstrated functional impairment as a result of the SED

  • Approved Authorization for Services by Magellan of Idaho

Life Counseling Center serves by:

  • Providing one-on-one collaborative, therapeutic support

  • Work closely with caregivers to teach and sustain progress and ongoing success

  • Develop effective behavioral management and adaptive behavioral skills
